Farnham Castle is managed by the Farnham Castle Charity (charity registration 313648, limited company by guarantee 00596938) on behalf of the Church Commissioners for England

Farnham Castle Trustees are responsible to the Church Commissioners for ensuring that the fabric of the Castle is maintained to the highest standard, and safeguarded for the benefit of future generations. Trustees and Guides work together to help visitors by promoting interest and sharing their knowledge of the Castle and Bishop's Palace. Volunteers are given all the support and information they need to fulfil their important, interesting and very rewarding roles.

BECOME A BISHOP'S PALACE VOLUNTEER

Palace volunteers take visitors on a 40-60 minute tour, explaining the history and major features of the building. On average, scheduled duty is approximately once a month on a Wednesday afternoon from 2-4pm. BECOME A CASTLE TRUSTEE

People with experience related to IT, property, maintenance, property leasing, the law, education, financial or marketing are sometimes needed to become members of the Board of Trustees.
